Պոզիտիվիզմ
Ընդհանուր առմամբ, տեսակետ է, ըստ որի փիլիսոփայությունը գիտության է, լայնածավալ ստույգ գիտելիքի շտեմարան և ապահովում է միակ մատչելի բանալին` ռացիոնալ սոցիալական գործունեության համար: Տասնիններորդ դարում պոզիտիվիզմի տարատեսակ ուղղություններ էին ծաղկում Եվրոպական մայրցամաքում, որոնցից մի մասը քաղաքական գործունեություն էր ծավալել: Վիեննայի խմբակը(1920) բաղկացած էր ֆիզիկոսներից, փիլիսոփաներից, տրամաբաններից և առաջադրում էր դրական տրամաբանություն կամ էմպիրիկ տրամաբանություն (տեսնել ավելին): Կառնապը, ի թիվս այլոց, այս խմբից է:
