akustikofobija
Akustikofobija ili fonofobija je strah od glasnih zvukova. Može da označava i strah od glasova, ili strah od vlastitog glasa. Na primer, slušanje CD-a koji počinje minutom tišine da bi potom iznenada krenula glasna rok muzika preplašilo bi većinu ljudi, pod pretpostavkom da nisu prethodno bili upoznati sa sadržajem CD-a. Preplašenost je sama po sebi normalna reakcija, ali ključna razlika je u tome što se ljudi sa ligirofobijom stalno boje ovakvog događaja.
