antiepileptik
Antiepileptici su sredstva za liječenje epilepsije. Općenito povoljno djeluju barbiturati (fenobarbiton, femiton) i primidon. Kod tipa “grand mal” rabe se ponajviše hidantoinati (fenitoin, karbamazepin) i dipropilacetat, a kod tipa “petit mal” oksazolidini (metadion) i suksimidi. Liječenje mora biti trajno.
